2. Information We Collect
- Phone number: used to register and log in to your account.
- Pet information: the pet profiles you create (name, breed, birthday, weight, etc.).
- Location information: precise location is used only for walk-tracking records that you actively start; it is never collected continuously in the background. Widget weather uses cached or last-known coordinates whenever possible and does not request coarse location permission on its own.
- Photos / videos: the pet photos, avatars, posts and other content you upload.
- Device and log information: to keep the service secure and stable, we may collect technical information such as device model, OS version and crash logs.
- Purchase and transaction information: top-up orders, App Store transaction identifiers and similar data, used solely for order confirmation, balance bookkeeping and after-sales service.
3. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used only for: account management, pet records, social sharing, walk-tracking records, desktop widget weather display, membership services, coin top-ups and product improvement. We will not use it for unrelated purposes without your consent.
4. Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers with security safeguards (primary service domain: pet-api.nuapaw.com) and transmitted over HTTPS. We retain data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described here, and after you delete your account we will delete or anonymize your data as required by law.
5. Sharing and Third-Party SDKs
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Content you publish publicly in the social square is visible to other users.
- To provide certain features we may integrate: the Flutter engine, Tianditu map tiles (proxied through our servers), Apple/Google in-app purchase (membership subscriptions and coin top-ups) and system location services — each used only where necessary.
6. Permissions
- Network access: to connect to our APIs.
- Location: walk tracking (high precision, triggered by you); widget weather reuses granted location or cached coordinates.
- Camera / photo library: to upload pet photos and videos.
- We do not request or use the run-at-boot permission (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED).
7. Your Rights
You may access, correct and delete your personal information, withdraw consent, and delete your account. You can edit your profile or request account deletion in the app under Settings; after deletion we will remove your account data except where retention is required by law.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated policy will be published in the app and on this page. For material changes we will notify you through in-app announcements or similar means.
